Desiccant drying agent is used inside an iSIC data logger to absorb moisture and prevent water damage to the electronics. The desiccant is made of Silica Gel drying agent and enclosed in tear-resistant Tyvek bag.

NexSens recommends that the desiccant be replaced several times per year and/or whenever the NEMA 4X enclosure is opened for data upload or routine maintenance.
