Details

NexSens SDL100 cable features 8 conductors, 22 AWG, and a rugged polyurethane jacket designed for outdoor and underwater applications. All conductors in the cable are protected by a shield, and the green and blue conductors are twisted with an additional shield to reduce noise. The additional shield and twisted pair are designed to reduce noise on long cable runs via RS-485 communications, which can reach lengths up to 4000 feet. The remaining conductors are designed for power, ground, and communication signals that deal in shorter lengths (SDI-12 and RS-232). The SDL100 cable also includes a drain wire to further reduce noise.
